Agriculture Monitoring
Harms Drone Advantage has amplified the crop scouting routine to be more efficient and effective by providing in-depth information on plant health at a whole field level throughout the growing season.
basic monitoring
What to expect: High resolution photo or video to view crops from a first person aerial view. Basic Monitoring is an excellent and efficient tool for supplementing a crop scouting routine. Select between photos or videos of an entire field or a pre-determined area of interest. This package is a great way to have peace of mind knowing your crops are in the condition as expected and no surprises will come during harvest. Variability in crop stress becomes clearly evident when differences in resources become limiting and those differences in crop health, especially with Nitrogen deficiency, will be clearly evident.
Advanced Monitoring
What to expect: Advanced monitoring allows the ability to view crops on a whole field level through hundreds of still photos that are all geo-referenced then stitched together creating a single high resolution orthomosaic image. Applying vegetation index algorithms to multi-spectral images can provide in-depth data to identify and treat specific locations in a field during the growing season otherwise unseen by the human eye. Choose between multiple options to process and analyze images for an advanced crop scouting analysis. The challenges of continuing to meet global demand will require producers to focus on mitigating crop stress before severe damage has been done and be proactive about growing the best crop possible every year and making every bushel and acre of land count.
The following images are the same field throughout the growing season to monitor growth and to detect any changes. We found herbicide damage, tire track damage, compaction issues, a planter skip, areas of poor plant stand, and nutrient deficiencies.
Routine monitoring
What to expect: Routine monitoring offers the same benefits of the Advanced Monitoring Package of tracking progress, growth, and overall field productivity. The difference is you are guaranteed two flights with all the maps and data included at a discounted price for planning ahead! These maps and models can be used to show changes over time that can help us understand how a particular environment has been impacted over time and determine why those changes or stresses have occurred. An evaluation of crop stress is required to prioritize management decisions and support real time business decisions about the current or future state of the field. There is no better way to start than by being proactive.
